Kyoto Store: Part-time Staff Wanted
The British Bag is looking for part-time staff to join our team at our Kyoto Teramachi store.
We are a brand featuring genuine leather bags designed by our British owner.
In our shop, which features a calm atmosphere filled with British classic bags and leather accessories, your role will be to guide customers to the products that suit them while enjoying conversation.
Our Kyoto store is visited by many customers from overseas.
We welcome those who are comfortable with being spoken to in English and enjoy simple communication.
Job Description
You will mainly be responsible for customer service and sales at the Kyoto Teramachi store.
・Customer service and sales of bags and leather accessories
・Cashier duties
・Product organization and inventory checks
・Product display
・Simple store cleaning
Depending on your work days and shift, you may also be asked to help with shipping store products from a warehouse in Kyoto City.

Working Hours and Days
11:00–20:00
8 working hours / 1-hour break
Approx. 2–3 days per week
Work is primarily on weekdays.
Work days and shifts can be discussed.
There is almost no overtime.
Salary
Hourly wage: 1,300–1,500 JPY

Probationary Period

Approx. 3 minutes walk from Exit 9 of Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station.
Also accessible from Keihan Gion-Shijo Station and the Kyoto Municipal Subway Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae Station.
